Beijing
With a history of over 3,000 years, Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China is a worthwhile destination for any traveller, with what seems like an endless number of cultural relics, old neighbourhoods, and avant-garde venues.
The best time to travel
The best time to tour through Beijing is unarguably during autumn (Sep–Nov). To Beijing locals, these months are considered to be the most beautiful because the light winds clear the skies and freshen the air. The temperature during this period is neither too hot nor too cold, averaging between 20–25°C (68o–77oF).
