Qian Men Dashilan
The portal of outer city, starting from Yong Ding Men was built in the 43rd years of the Ming Dynasty (1564). In old Beijing Qianmen was the hub of commerce, entertainment and vice. Qianmen is named for the gate separating the inner "Manchu" city in 1648. Some of Chinas oldest businesses are located here, including Tongrentang, a traditional Chinese pharmacy opened in 1669, and Ruifuxiang Silk Store.
LiulichangAntiques Street(Liulichang Wen Hua Jie)
Liulichang is a famous district in downtown Beijing that is known for a series of traditional Chinese stone dwellings housing that sells various craftwork, artistry and antiques. An antique market that resembles a Chinese village has many shops that are filled with a variety of Chinese folk arts such painting, calligraphy, pottery, carpets, vases, book, scrolls and chops.
