Hanshan (Cool Hill) Temple
The Hanshan Temple is located five kilometers (3 miles) from the Old Town. Its name derives from a monk named Han Shan who took control as the manager. It is representative of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) architecture. A Buddhist pagoda called Pluming Pagoda was built in 1995 and is 42 meters tall (138 feet). The famous reflective poem of Han Shan is inscribed on a stone tablet.
