Jade Dragon Mountain
As soon as you enter Lijiang, you will be able to see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, a sacred mountain to the Naxi. The peak of Yulong Snow Mountain is called Shanzi Dou at an elevation of 5,596m (18,360ft). With 19 modern oceanic (of temerpate climate) glaciers, Yulong Snow Mountain is one of Yunnan’s most celebrated sights.
Dayulong is a paradise of a landscape where you can experience glacier parks, yak-feeding grounds, alpine meadows, and spruce groves. Also, between the snow covered peaks, dense forests, blossoming fields, whispering brooks, and clear pools it may well seem like you have passed through all four seasons in a single day.
