Day 2
Lhasa
Visit the most famous Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street.
Potala Palace is the highest ancient palace in the world, reaching 3,767.19m (12,359.55ft) at the topmost point. You will climb past the White Palace into the Red Palace.
Located in Barkhor Street, Jokhang Temple is smaller and more manageable than the Potala. This 4-storey, golden-roofed temple is at the heart of a rich and living Tibetan Buddhism. Many locals pray here regularly.
As a symbol of Lhasa, Barkhor Street is a must-see place for visitors. Built about 1,300 years ago, The Barkhor (pilgrims circuit) is found in the heart of Lhasa encircling the Jokhang Temple. For visitors, Barkhor Street is a magical place showing the original outlook of Lhasa.

Day 3
Lhasa
Visit Sera Monastery, Norbulingka and Drepung Monastery.
Sera Monastery is one of the three main monasteries of Lhasa, it is here that the monks "famous daily debates" take place. Visitors can watch the debate, but it is advised to keep quiet.
Norbulingka is situated at the western suburbs of Lhasa and is the summer residence of Dalai Lamas. Reputed as "the Garden within Garden", it is a good place for pilgrimage, holidays and appreciation of Tibetan palace architectures.
Situated at the foot of the Mountain Gambo Utse, 5 kilometers from the western suburb of Lhasa, the Drepung Monastery is known as the most important monastery of Gelugpa in Tibetan Buddhism. It is considered one of the “Three Great Monasteries” of Lhasa. The grand Shonton Festival is held in the early part of August every year. That is the busiest day there with crowds of people. It is an opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of this festival.
